Emergency crews were attempting to repair energy supply throughout the damaged zones, with dozens of response units activated to address the widespread outages.
Victoria's Weather Woes
Meanwhile, around one thousand energy customers in the southern state also faced energy failures after Melbourne recorded its heaviest rainfall in a year and a half.
Emergency response teams responded to 598 calls for help across the state, mostly for property damage but also for collapsed vegetation and water accumulation.

Damp conditions were predicted to continue along significant areas of the state's eastern regions this next several days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.
Tuesday was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with continued thunderstorm potential expected across different parts of both states.

Health officials alerted that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.
